Purpose and scope
About the letter
What is this open letter asking for?
The letter asks healthcare institutions, schools, and professional societies to acknowledge antisemitism explicitly and to describe concrete steps for addressing it in education, training, and clinical settings.
The complete, fixed text is available on the letter page. A signature will support that text; signers will not be able to edit it.
Does the letter restrict political disagreement?
No. The letter expressly distinguishes antisemitism from legitimate political disagreement, including criticism of Israeli government policy.
Who is the letter for?
It is intended for individuals across Connecticut’s medical and healthcare community, including clinicians, healthcare staff, students, faculty, researchers, trainees, and patients.
Does listing an affiliation imply institutional endorsement?
No. An affiliation identifies an individual signer only. It does not imply endorsement by an employer, hospital, school, professional society, or any other institution.
Where can I read the sources?
The Sources page links directly to the publications, official records, professional materials, and reporting supporting the factual passages.

Signing and review
How will email confirmation work?
A signer receives a one-time confirmation link at the email address provided. Only after that link is used can the submission enter signature review.
Does email confirmation prove a signer’s identity?
No. It confirms access to the submitted email account; it does not by itself prove professional status, identity, or institutional endorsement. Signature review is a separate step.
What will appear publicly?
The public listing is limited to approved display information: a signer’s name, role, and optional affiliation. Email addresses, verification records, and review notes are not displayed publicly.
